Well, this is my first post. Hence to start off, I am taking a book which wont tax me much..... ;-).
To start of, the book starts with the story of the author and his travel from Delhi to some other place (Can't really place it now). During the journey he happens to meet a cute girl, who tells him a story with a commitment that he will publish a book on that story. That is how the story actually starts.
The story centers around a very ordinary, random-like guy, called _______ in the story; his job at the call center; his girlfriend Priyanka, with whom he has broken up, but still harbours feelings for her ('vested feelings' as defined by the author). The story revloves around the events of the one night and some past incidents experienced by the protagonist.
I, for one felt, that it is a pretty decent book. But unfortunately for the author, the book pales when it is compared to the author's earlier book (i.e. Five point someone). These comparisons are just unavoidable as much as anyone would dislike that. That is the disadvantage this book faces. But for someone who has not read FPS, or someone who can judge ONATCC on its merit, he/she would find this book a light read. At times there is some serious philosophy in the book.
